Whew, this month has been busy! I have been working in a sewing class. This is the first time I've had any real deadline for getting a sewing project done. I must say, it was challenging. We made a pillowcase, a pair of pajama pants, a shirt, and a skirt - in that order. If you have never sewn before, this was intense. Even though we split the projects up over multiple weeks, holy cow, it was difficult. Sleeves are probably the hardest thing. That said, I'm really proud of the work I got done in this class, so I've attached a gallery of the finished projects, and the video I filmed of my final portfolio of techniques. In addition, there is a picture of a zippered pouch I made myself with the new skills, as well as a second pair of pants. As far as the writing goes from NaNo, I only got 5,000 words. I did a lot of editing, though. I've also been doing a lot ghostwriting, as the norm is this time of year. Lots of Christmas themed stories. Ah well, c'est la vie! I'm off to finish it all before the new year begins.
